Dear Encourager was born from the personal experiences of its founders, Keesha and Vanessa, who understand the challenges of living with and caring for someone with a chronic health condition. Keesha, adjusting to her "new normal," and Vanessa, who spent seven years caring for her mother, saw the need for a community that supports both patients and caregivers. This vision led to the creation of our organization—a place where members can share their stories, access resources, and feel genuinely supported.
Our organization thrives on empathy and firsthand understanding. Keesha and Vanessa’s experiences are embedded in our foundation, ensuring that we offer a nurturing and non-judgmental environment. At Dear Encourager, we believe in the power of community support to alleviate the isolation that often comes with chronic conditions.
Dear Encourager aims to unite those affected by chronic health conditions with their caregivers in a supportive community. We provide counseling, support groups, and respite care, designed to enhance well-being and foster connections. Our services are built to support not just the physical challenges, but also the emotional and social aspects of living with chronic conditions.
As a nonprofit staffed by diverse professionals, including nurses, counselors, and social workers, we emphasize collaboration and community. Launched just four months ago, we are already making a difference through our virtual support groups. For support, or to join our cause, call us at
